Welcome to a marvelous edition of the magnificently world-renowned BBC! Today we continue the trimester long celebration of the current MCU hit The Marvels! Today we begin by presenting the next Marvels’ marvel, Monica Rambeau!
That’s right! The character portrayed by Teyonah Parris is finally back! One of the most powerful characters in the whole MCU has to be used sparingly or else we wouldn’t need any of the other Avengers!
Monica first appeared in the first Captain Marvel movie. “Auntie Carol” was best friends with her mom, so she grew up admiring her and wanting to be like her! (Fun fact! Her mom is played by the same actress that was the Captain Marvel in the alternate universe seen in Doctor Strange 2! In this universe she got the powers instead of Carol Danvers!)
Monica got her super amazing powers during the events of WandaVision! While going through the super hex barrier placed by the soon to be Scarlett Witch, she gained TV show-like powers!
Her powers include becoming pass-through like Casper, and glow-y eyes!
With her, The Marvels super team is more powerful than ever! Our sweet Brie is in good hands!
